The people of Titjikala belong to the Arrente, Luritja and Pitjantjara clans. Aboriginal people started gathering in Titjikala area in the 1950’s when the mission truck visited every 6 weeks. In 1953 there were only 6 people living in what is now known as Titjikala. Now there are over 300 Aboriginal people.You do come back a different person.
